Dr Anil Karapurkar who is one the pioneers in Neuro interventions in India. He has treated thousands of patients with neurovascular diseases such as aneurysms, Brain arteriovenous malformations and fistulas (AVM & AVF), brain tumors & Acute Stroke cases. He has conducted various workshops in interventional Neuro surgeries.

He received training in endovascular procedures from France & has been the past president of AAFITN (Asian-Australasian Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology). He has been on the Advisory Board of WFITN (World Federation of Interventional & Therapeutic Neuroradiology). Anil Karapurkar has trained several Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Radiologists in this exciting speciality. His aim is to create awareness of stroke amongst the public.
