Introduction
Dr. Duru Shah is the Director, Gynaecworld, “The Center for Women’s Health & Fertility” where she runs her private practice in Mumbai. She is currently the Founder President of the “The PCOS Society” (India), and a Board Member of the Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE), the Chair of CAMS, International Menopause Society (IMS) and the Chair of “Metropolis Foundation”. Trustee of the Mumbai Obstetrics & Gynecology Society (MOGS)
Dr. Shah has occupied the highest position in the field of Obst. Gyn. in India as the President of Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India, (FOGSI) and various other National Professional Organizations, including the “Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR)” and the Chair of the Indian College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ICOG). She has contributed immensely to the field of academics through various organizations. On the International front she has served as a Member of the Ethics Committee of International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, and has also been the “Director of Digital Education”, “Chair of the IMPART Program” and on the Board of The International Menopause Society” and has been the International Advisor of ESHRE’s Special Interest Group “Safety & Quality in ART” (SQART).
