Dr Mahesh Balsekar is a Consultant at the Paediatrics department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr Balsekar trained at Wadia Children’s Hospital and Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital. He was a rank holder in the DCH and the MD examinations.

Dr Balsekar has been in practice since 1985, and has been associated with leading hospitals in Mumbai.

His area of interest includes neonatology. He has spoken at several national and international conferences and has numerous publications to his credit. He has a special interest in Social Medicine and is the founder of a charitable trust ‘Healing Touch’ and is also on the advisory board of ‘St. Judes’ and ‘Project NEEDS’.
