Dr. Ramesh Punjani is a practicing surgeon at Fortis Hospital for past 10 years.He did MBBS from Grant medical College, Mumbai in 1982 MS in general surgery from Grant Medical College in 1986.He has been doing laparoscopic surgery (both basic advance) for last 20 years.He has passion for repair of Hernia . He has done thousands of hernia by varying technique.He is also a well known teacher .He was assistant professor in surgery at K. J. Somaiya Medical College for 8 years.He is a faculty at Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education(EISE) at Center of Excellence Minimal Access Surgery Training (CEMAST), where he teaches practicing surgeons laparoscopic surgery.He is also a trained Console surgeon in Robotic Surgery.
