Dr. Sarita Bhagwat has an experience of 28 years in the field of Paediatric Surgery. She has completed MBBS from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, MS – General Surgery and MCh – Pediatric Surgery from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College. She has also completed her Fellowship in Pediatric Urology. She has an expertise in Reconstructive surgery for Hypospadias ,Exstrophy, Epispadias , Single stage pull through for Hirschsprung’s disease, Fetus in fetu Surgery , conjoint twins surgery , etc. Dr. Sarita Bhagwat has contributed various chapters in the books and has been a co-editor of the book ‘Re-do Surgery in Children. She has been awarded with the Hargobind Foundation fellowship in Paediatric Surgery for the year 2002 to visit Royal Children`s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia for vesical exstrophy and related work .
