RESEARCH I performed original research as a part of my MD dissertation in year 2003 for Evaluation of left ventricular function in type II diabetes mellitus by echocardiography. The aim of the study was to find out the incidence of left ventricular dysfunction in patient with diabetes mellitus who are asymptomatic.
